About me: I am a recovering film nerd from a sprawling farming community in Maryland. I left home at the ripe age of 18 to study Television, Film and New Media at beautiful San Diego State University. After graduating I moved to Los Angeles, my new home, and I have remained in love with the city ever since. Every job I’ve had in my career has taught me at least one valuable lesson; working on the farms in my youth has given me a foundation of hard work ethic, door-to-door sales and cold calling has demonstrated the power of words and communication, DVDyourmemories.com was a startup company that instilled an entrepreneurial spirit in me that continues to grow, and working at ABC has pushed my standards for excellence to the highest level of professionalism and perfectionism. The thing that drives my creativity most is the term “what else?” When all the ideas have been laid out, I know there is always one more thing that could elevate the message. I love brainstorming. I love conceptualizing. I love executing a great idea.
That’s a little bit about me professionally. I’m also an avid coffee connoisseur, amateur pool shark, middle-child, TV junkie, fast-walker, and really bad guitar player (but I still try). Enjoy the blog…I look forward to hearing your feedback in the comments section.
